Arkansas apostille requirements for Single Status Affidavits
Arkansas does not issue Single Status Certificates, so you must prepare a Single Status Affidavit, which you will sign and have notarized by an Arkansas notary public. This affidavit is a sworn statement confirming that you are single and free to marry.
Since requirements vary by country, we recommend having your fiancé(e) check if a specific format or additional details are needed for acceptance.
Your affidavit must be properly notarized with a jurat. Documents that only have a notary’s signature and stamp—without a proper notarial certificate—will be rejected. Remote notarization is not accepted for Arkansas apostilles.
